About Us
Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar College of Physical Education ,Madurai was started in the year 2017 as an affiliated college of Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a Tamil Nadu Government Aided institution and has received status from University Grants Commission(UGC). It is one among the premier Institutions in South India, which provides quality education since its inception in early nineties to the students. The Institution strongly believes that is the first step towards developing a healthy society. The rural with affordable education with a blend of spirituality forms the main focus of the institution. The students from rural areas and economically weaker sections have been immensely benefited by the education provided by the Institution.
The College stands as a role model for the ideals and principles , the Nation should be trained to develop spiritual strength, intellectual independence and moral character.
